Kallypso Media have announced a release date for their upcoming realistic WWII RTS; Sudden Strike 4. You have until the 11th of August 2017 to get prepared. To help you get your strategy skills up to scratch, Kallypso have released their General’s Handbook, a three part video series detailing everything you need to know about Sudden Strike 4; from how it works, to how it was made. With three campaigns, over 100 units, and a total of 60 missions to fight your way through, you’ll need to use every strategy in the book, and more to win this war.

I’ve mentioned previously that I was a little disappointed that we weren’t seeing more innovation with this latest WWII RTS, especially as there are so many other games that fill this role so well. However, Kallypso are making a big thing about the realism of SS4, and if their putting half as much energy into gameplay as they are on creating authentic units and scenarios, then SS4 should be one quality game.
